Éire Óg Annual Charity Road Hurling

The annual road hurling event will take place this Sunday 17th Jan, with registration at the Patrician Hall at 2.00pm. Teams of 3 and £10 entry per person with all proceeds going to Termonmaguirc Cancer Patients Comfort Fund and The Rainbow Gateway Club. Last Man Standing Fundraiser

The club will be running a last man standing competition. It will be based on Premier League fixtures with the first round of fixtures on the 23rd of January. Éire Óg Annual General Meeting 2015

Éire Óg club AGM took place on Monday 14th December in the Charm Inn with a large crowd in attendance.

There were comprehensive reports from both Ciara McCrystal (Secretary) and Declan Bennett (Chairman). Both hightlighted the achievements of the club over the past year both on the playing field and off. Most notably the retaining of the Senior hurling championship and Junior Camogie Championship, winning of the U16 hurling championship and Minor hurling league title. Off the field, the highlight of the year was the 45 year Gala held on the 7th November in the Hillgrove Hotel.

After months of preparation and planning the day is finally here for the Éire Óg celebration Gala.

Preparations are well underway in the hotel to make the event a magical evening.

Remember folks the champagne reception will commence at 6.00pm and all guest must be seated for 7.00pm sharp for dinner service.

Éire Óg Gala Night – Saturday 7th of November 2015

Folks, just an update on the events of the night of the Gala dinner.

The champagne reception will commence at 6.00pm sharp and not 6.30pm as stated on the ticket.

Dinner will be served at 7.00pm sharp.

We will have a lot to get through on the night, so we must stick to a tight schedule.

It’s going to be a great night… Éire Óg Abú!

Éire Óg Hurling Acadamy

Éire Óg Hurling Academy 6 week Indoor programme starts on Tuesday 10th November in Carrickmore Youth centre. This is a new and exciting  programme set up within the hurling club. Primary 2, 3 & 4 boys/girls  indoor from 5.15pm-6.15pm .Primary 5, 6 & 7 boys/girls from 6.15pm-7.15pm.

The cost for the 6-week programme is £10 .Players will receive a new T-shirt, Hurley and a ball.

Éire Óg Beaten in Ulster Intermediate Final

Creggan Kickhams  2-12   Éire Óg  1-07

Éire Óg seniors were beaten on Sunday past on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-07 against a great Creggan Kickhams side in Owenbeg.

This brings to an end a great season for the lads and we would like to let them know that the club and the whole parish are proud of their achievements this year.

We wish Creggan Kickhams well in the All Ireland Semi – final and their quest for the All Ireland intermediate title.
