Éire Óg seniors were beaten on Sunday past on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-07 against a great Creggan Kickhams side in Owenbeg.

This brings to an end a great season for the lads and we would like to let them know that the club and the whole parish are proud of their achievements this year.

We wish Creggan Kickhams well in the All Ireland Semi – final and their quest for the All Ireland intermediate title.

Éire Óg Win Back Senior Hurling Championship Crown

Carrickmore Eire Og are this evening celebrating their 23nd senior hurling crown to draw level with Eoghan Ruadh. They were full value for their 1-18 to 0-9 point win over three in a row chasing Dungannon team. The Eoghan Ruadh side never really got into their stride at any point throughout the sixty minutes. Star forward Damian Casey never really got into the game and looked very ordinary throughout. Dermot Begley who was given the man marking job on Casey had a superb hour breaking up many Dungannon attacks before they really got going. Continue reading
